Do you offer walk-in clinic services?
We are no longer able to offer walk-in appointments at our clinic unless you are already a registered patient. We apologize for any inconvenience.
I'm a registered Britannia Medical Clinic patient - can I get a same-day appointment?
All of our appointments are booked in advance, but we do reserve some time during the day for emergencies for our patients. Call ahead to check on our doctors' availability!
How much notice do you require for cancellations?
Please be aware clinic time is very valuable and we require 24 hours' notice to re-book or cancel any appointment. After the first MISSED appointment you will receive a courtesy call reminding you of clinic policy, and the next MISSED or NO SHOW appointment will result in a $50 fee. After the third missed appointment the fee increases to $100 and you will not be able to book appointments until the fee is paid. Appointments are in high demand and an early cancellation will allow another patient to be seen. Any cancellations under 24 hours will be considered a NO SHOW.
Sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances, patients’ appointments may be cancelled by the physician or our office. This happens when physicians call in sick. We will do our best to offer you an appointment with another physician. We will strive to give you as much notice as possible in these situations.
Are you accepting new patients?
Unfortunately, at this time, our practice is full and we are no longer accepting new patients.
Can I call to talk to my doctor, get my prescription, or get my results?
Due to COVID-19, we are offering phone consults whenever possible. Please call us to book an appointment if you need to speak to a physician. Our doctors do not return phone calls.
Prescriptions will not be filled over phone or fax. Patients are required to book in to be assessed by a doctor.
We respect your privacy and confidentiality; please be aware results will not be given over the phone. You must book an appointment to get results of any kind.
